adrian's epigraph

​Nine months before Supersede Control was written,
this photo was taken.

Adrian and I won Class B in a 1-Hour Enduro at Dezzi Raceway.
A track day event, hosted by Amazing Glaze.
It was Adrian’s first race.
And his first win.

The result was not the focus.
The process was.

Supersede Control was written in February and March 2026.
But the thinking behind it was already in place.
Applied. Tested. Proven.

Adrian read the manuscript before print.
He understood the structure immediately.

He wrote the epigraph that now opens the book.

Some things are written quickly.
Because they have already been built.

For anyone who carries responsibility when the stakes are real.

The world of motorsport is the canvas. It is where the forces are visible. Where mistakes are immediate. Where pressure has no filter.

This book rests on a simple principle:

You reveal what you’ve built.

Performance under load is not created in the moment.
It is constructed beforehand.
